Any and all parents are welcome tp attend tomorrow’s meeting – we are in need of fundraising ideas in order to look forward to 2023/24 as well as consolidating the Wind Band tour to France in July 2023. Notes from the last meeting are below:
Swing Band are at the Dickensian Festival next Saturday.
Arrive by 3.15pm at the latest at Market Cross; no concert uniform, just make sure you are warm and also have gloves you can play your instrument in!!!!!
Playing from 3.45-5.15pm
Little Big Band are at the Farmers Arms in Lowick tomorrow for their Winter Fair.
Arrive by 3pm in Swing Band shirts (free choice bottoms & shoes); playing from 3.30-5pm.
Many apologies but I am having to postpone the ‘Friend of UVHS Music’ meeting that was scheduled to be held tomorrow evening at 6pm, as I now have meetings (and a parents’ evening) on every night of the week.
The meeting is rescheduled for Tuesday 22nd November @ 6pm. All parents are welcome to attend – details of funding for the Wind Band tour and finance in general will be published here by the end of the week so that everyone can see ‘where we are’.
This is well worth a look for any student who enjoys performing!!!!
