A reminder that the REDUCED Swing Band is playing at Holker Hall tomorrow, performing at 12.00 and 2pm in the covered bandstand area.

Those students playing know who they are and received a letter last week with all the arrangements.  We are taking 7 saxes, 3 trumpets, 2 trombones, drum, bass and piano.

Please make sure you are wearing full swing band uniform (with t-shirt underneath for warmth if necessary), and bring a waterproof for when we are not playing.

Yet another brilliant concert from the Swing Band at Millom Palladium on Friday night. We brought the (packed) house down!!  Some phenomenal individual vocal and instrumental performances as well as an extremely high quality of ensemble playing.

Special congratulations to Alex Nicklin, Francis Smith-Ward and Emily Glass who all made their debuts, and had to sight-read about 75% of the programme!!!!

Next Swing Band gig is at Grange on Sunday 21st June @ 2pm, but the Combo has three engagements before then:

Friday 29th May  –  Holker Garden Festival (12.00 & 2pm)

Saturday 20th June  –  Private Party at Newlands (6.30pm)

Saturday 20th June  –  The Old Friends (8pm – 10.00pm)
