The Harry King Radio Show has just started on Radio Cumbria and is on until 6pm.  He will be airing 2 features – one on ‘Oh What A Lovely War!’ and one on the Music Department.

Letters go out today in the wind band rehearsal for our next tour  –  Austria in July 2016 (based near Salzburg).  Please check that it has got home tonight!

Tickets for the 2014 UVHS Christmas Festival (Tuesday 16th Dec.) will go on sale to the general public on Saturday 1st November priced at £7.50 balcony and £7 stalls (£3.50 & £3 for children respectively). Tickets are only available from The Coro Box Office.

However, as with last year, they will go on advance sale to parents and friends of UVHS performers on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st October  –  in order to obtain tickets on these two days you must quote ‘FEST 14’  as the code.

Following the highly successful and entertaining trip to Jersey Boys in Manchester last Friday, letters for the next trip are out today from the Performing Arts Office.  We are seeing the matinee performance of BARNUM! on Saturday 15th November – coach leaves UVHS at 09:15 / shopping & lunch at The Lowry outlet / performance at 14:30 / back to UVHS at 20:00.  Cost – £45 each.
