Just a few messages about rehearsals….

1. There is a Flings rehearsal this Wednesday after school, and there will be another next Wed (22^nd) as well as on the 29^th – this is to ensure that we are ready for the Chamber Concert on Wed 6^th May.  Please could we have full attendance? Any problems please let me know.
2. Swing Band will rehearse on Friday after school – this is our ONLY rehearsal for the Marines event on Fri 24^th.
3. Next Monday after school MUST be a full Wind Band rehearsal as it is the last one before the Marines concert on Sat 25^th April – this afternoon’s attendance was a little disappointing and we were unable to rehearse the full programme due to absence which is really worrying.  Please ensure that everyone is there.
4. Swing Band & Marines Dance Band joint gig – there are still tickets available for the Marines’ Social event on Fri 24^th (£10 from the Music Office including pie’n’peas).
5. If any families have any raffle prizes they can donate for the Wind Band/Marines concert on the 25^th please send them in to the Music Office.  Last year the raffle brought in £1000 which is vital fundraising income.
6. If any parents are willing to help man the doors on Fri 24^th at The Coro (7pm-8pm) I would be very grateful – this needs to be a strict ‘ticket only’ event.  Likewise, we need assistance selling raffle tickets on Sat 25^th as well as giving out programmes.
