Swing Band were brilliant at Grange this afternoon!!!!\u00a0 The last ‘full band’ performance of the year saw the band play brilliantly and some great vocal performances from Florrie and Connor in their last full concert with the Swing Band, as well as Emma and Tabi in support.<\/p>\n
I can only praise the Band so much, but I must say that\u00a0it has been both an honour and a pleasure to be able to work with a group of such talent, commitment and enthusiasm.\u00a0 It is always sad to do the ‘last concert’ with any of the groups, but I must admit to feeling a lump in my throat during the encores.<\/p>\n
So … thank you for making an ageing, balding and, let’s face it, fairly boring teacher a very, very happy man!!!<\/p>\n
We took an amazing \u00a3445 in the collection, on top of the \u00a3100 fee – sums up what the audience felt about our performance!!!!!!!<\/p>\n
