As part of their visit to us next weekend,\u00a0\u00a0there will be a Royal Marines Band Service Careers Presentation at The Coronation Hall on Saturday 27th May from 12.30-1.20pm. Please could I encourage as many of our music students (and parents)\u00a0to come along as possible, especially if they are interested in a career in any of the armed services music organisations it is well worth it. Even if they are not currently interested, it may give them a nother idea for a potential career.\u00a0 All 3 services are now actively recruiting singers and guitarists alongside the more traditional wind, string and percussion instruments, and all 3 are upping their recruitment numbers over the next few years. From 1.30pm onwards, the Marines Band will be rehearsing in The Coro and any student\/parent not part of that massed band\u00a0is welcome to come and watch some of that rehearsal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
