Happy New Year to all students\/parents\/families involved with music at UVHS.\u00a0 I hope you all had a good Christmas and are well set for 2016.<\/p>\n
A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who performed and held buckets\u00a0at Booths on 19th December – we raised \u00a3875 in the buckets during the 6.5 hours of performing\u00a0 –\u00a0 a fantastic effort on everybody’s part.<\/p>\n
On Monday 22nd, the Chamber Choir and Sax Ensemble gave a fantastic afternoon concert at St Marys Hospice, and we handed over not only 100 mince pies and 4 bottles of sherry (kindly donated by Mr Miller and the Harrrell Lane Co-Op), but also the \u00a3536 raised in the collection following the Christmas Festival\u00a0 –\u00a0 which I hope everyone enjoyed.<\/p>\n
Finally\u00a0 –\u00a0 the next Friends meeting will be on Tuesday 12th January at 6.30pm in the Meeting Room in A Block (old staffroom).\u00a0 All are welcome to attend, with the main agenda item being the Marines concert in May\u00a0 –\u00a0 tickets will go on sale in February and there will<\/strong> be a ‘pre-sale day’ for parents to buy them.<\/p>\n Many thanks for all the support given in 2015 and here’s to a successful 2016.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Happy New Year to all students\/parents\/families involved with music at UVHS.\u00a0 I hope you all had a good Christmas and are well set for 2016.
