I’m catching up on posting group work and updating the lesson and resources. Here is the link to some of the the Vodafone presentations you completed last month and also some from previous years for reference.
Those who are on the ball will get this email, open this attachment on migration into Europe, have a read of the short article and graphics, and be able to feed back in Monday’s lesson.
Those who are not will miss out on the Christmas treats….
Mr Monteith is not in your lesson period 1 today. Follow the link below for reading and make notes on the political instability in the Middle East and its effects on energy security. Hard copies are available in my year 13 energy folder.
Mr Mitchell will give you an article on renewables in the UK energy mix to read as well.
Tomorrow, period 5-6, Ellen McGowan is due to come to talk to us about volcanoes and volcanic eruptions. She will be giving a demonstration of how volcanoes can erupt.
Due to the flooding in Lancaster I am still waiting for confirmation, but hopefully it will give you an insight into an area of Geography that some of you may be considering studying at University.
