Sixth Form trip to see ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’: 08 October
A reminder to all sixth-formers interested in this trip to have your reply slips and payments in as soon as possible. Places are strictly limited for the trip, so we’ll have to work on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
We’re genuinely excited to offer this trip.
Drama is always better understood when watched rather than read, and whilst Elia Kazan’s 1951 black and white film is an absolute classic – particularly for the electric performances of Vivien Leigh and Marlon Brando – students will know that they are rewarded for their ability to consider different interpretations of the script. And who better to take on the role of Blanche than Maxine Peake, one of our leading contemporary actresses?
See you there – if you get your responses in quickly!
