BDAE Lecture – The Rise & Fall of the Atomic Age

The talk will track the rise of the Atomic age from its birth in the 1940s and follow its downward spiral to the current opinions on nuclear technology today. He’ll discuss if Nuclear power is something to be afraid of or if it could potentially answer some of the problems we face today. He invites you to join him on the journey which will look at the “Rise and fall of the Atomic Age”!

Thursday, 20th April and is preceded by a very short AGM. It will be held in the Studio at Forum 28, at 7.30pm.

STEM Women Summer School, Thursday 29-Saturday 1 July 2017

Following last year’s hugely successful initiative, Corpus Christi College is pleased to announce that it will again be hosting a three-day residential summer school for Year 12 women at all UK schools who are interested in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Engineering and are planning to apply to a competitive university in autumn 2016. Teachers are invited to notify eligible students of this opportunity. Further information on eligibility and how to apply can be found here.
