There are still places available on the Physics Stream at the Warwick Sutton Trust Summer School, with only a few days left to apply (deadline for students’ applications is THURSDAY 2 MARCH).
The summer school will involve a range of academic, informative and social activities designed to replicate a 1st year undergraduate experience at a world-class university. In the Physics stream, participants will sample a range of different areas within physics during the week. The course will simulate a real undergraduate experience with a mixture of laboratory experimental session and theory.
The University of Sydney, the University of York & the Ogden Trust have teamed up to provide five scholarships for year 12 Physics students from the UK to attend the International Science School in Sydney. Full scholarships cover all costs for the two-week programme, including flights, accommodation, meals & activities. In other words — it’s free! Teachers can nominate up to two students per school and full details, including a link to the online application form, are available at: york.ac.uk/physics/sydney
