UVHS physics sixth form has been asked to support the Institute of Physics at the Holker Garden festival. The IoP runs a stand with lots of physics demos from rocket launching to thermal imaging cameras.
The idea is to have some fun with the passing visitors and to promote physics amongst the general public.
If you would like to help out on either Friday 30th May or Sunday 1st June please contact Mr Thompson. We will provide free transport, entry to the show and some time for a wander around, a free Physics in the Field T-shirt and maybe a frisbee! We’ll even buy you your lunch.
