Tickets for the joint concert between UVHS Wind Band and The Royal Marines will go on pre-sale this Thursday (23rd) and Friday (24th) from the Box Office at The Coro. On these two days, tickets can only be purchased in person (not over the phone or internet), but there is no limit to the number of tickets an individual can buy.

Also – a reminder that we are running a trip to see the award-winning musical adaptation of The Commitments at The Palace Theatre in Manchester on Saturday 8th April. Students and parents are invited to come – see attached letter…

Balcony – £17.50 (no concessions)
Front Stalls rows A-E – £14 (£10 under 16s)
Rear Stalls rows F onwards – £12 (£9 OAPs, £6 under 16s)
A reminder that there is a meeting of the Friends of UVHS Music tomorrow at 6.30pm in the meeting room in A Block. All are welcome to attend.
We have got hold of 30 tickets to see the smash hit musical ‘The Commitments’ on Saturday 8th April. This trip is not only open to students but also to parents & friends – we really don’t mind who goes, everyone is welcome!!!!!
Tickets are £60 each including a great seat in the stalls (with room for dancing!), transport and insurance. Coach leaves at 9.45am – travel to The Lowry for shopping & lunch – show starts 2.30pm @ The Palace Theatre – back to UVHS by 7pm.

Please advertise this wherever possible. Tickets go on pre-sale to parents on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th Feb (notice change of date), and general sale to the public on Monday 27th. Please distribute on social media etc…..
Details of the ‘social’ with the Marines Dance Band on the 26th May will come out soon (after the Friends have firmed up details)
The next Friends meeting will be next Tuesday, 14th Feb (I know what you’re all thinking … what an old romantic Mr Butler is!!). We will be discussing the forthcoming Marines concert in May and reviewing the Christmas events among other things.
